# Shell Upgrade

<p align="center"><mark style="color:yellow;"><strong>How can I improve my Shell Set?</strong></mark></p>

<p align="center">First of all, this system was created to increase the upgrade level of one effect from your shell.<br>You cannot choose which effect to upgrade the game will automatically select one based on the effects currently present on your weapons.</p>

<p align="center">To obtain these materials, go to the Npc <em><mark style="color:yellow;"><strong>Shell Upgrader</strong></mark></em> in <em><mark style="color:yellow;"><strong>VaryaVille</strong></mark></em>.</p>

Once you have all the materials to increase the upgrade, insert your weapon into the slot on the left side of the upgrade window and click on *Shell Upgrade*.

If your upgrade is successful, you can view the result of the improved effect on the left side

<mark style="color:yellow;">There are three possible outcomes for a Shell Effect upgrade:</mark> \
• Success: One Shell Effect is upgraded. \
• Failure: All materials are consumed, but the Shell Effect is not upgraded. \
• Critical Failure: All materials are lost, and the Shell Effect upgrade level on the equipment is downgraded by one stage.

<mark style="color:yellow;">Upgrading Shell Effects requires two new items:</mark> \
• Shell Powder\
• Shell Stabilizer \
If equipment with upgraded Shell Effects is "<mark style="color:yellow;">gambled</mark>," all upgrade progress will be removed.

To remove the effect you just upgraded, you need to use the item *Shell Upgrade Solvent*.

Double-click on the *<mark style="color:yellow;">Shell Upgrade Solvent</mark>* item and drag it onto the weapon you want to downgrade. You will receive a confirmation message before the operation is carried out.

If instead you wish to remove all upgrade effects from your equipment, you need to use this item: \

Select this item and drag it onto your weapon to delete all the effects currently on it. \
You will receive a confirmation message before the operation is carried out

After resetting your shell with the *Shell Upgrade Purifier* item, you will receive this message to confirm your action in the game
