Specialist Card Augments are a new feature for NosVarya players that allow you to enhance your Specialist Cards (SP), making them stronger and more effective in PvE or PvP content.
In addition to the stat improvements, augmented Specialist Cards change their appearance in the inventory, making them easy to distinguish from non-augmented cards.
Purpose of Specialist Card Augments
The main goal of this system is to improve and specialize SP performance, allowing:
Underperforming Specialist Cards to become viable,
PvE-oriented SPs to be stronger in end-game content,
PvP-oriented SPs to be competitive in player combat,
Clear distinction between PvE, PvP, and default Specialist Cards.
A Specialist Card can visually exist in three different states:
Default Specialist Card (no augment)
[PvE] Specialist Card (PvE augment applied)
[PvP] Specialist Card (PvP augment applied)
To apply an augment to a Specialist Card, you must craft one of the 8 Dragon Gems.
Crafting Dragon Gems requires special materials obtained from:
Dragon Rush
A8 Dragon Cores (and Core Fragments)
Dragon Gems are the key items used to enhance Specialist Cards.
To craft Dragon Gems, Dragon Cores and Core Fragments must first be converted into Core Dust.
Core Dust & Eternal Dragonfire?
There are different types of Core Dust depending on the intended use:
PvE Core Dust
PvP Core Dust
The type of Dust obtained depends on the Core or Fragment selected and determines which Dragon Gem can be crafted.
Dragon Cores and Core Fragments cannot be pulverized directly.
To convert them into Dust, you need Eternal Dragonfire, a special consumable item.
How to obtain Eternal Dragonfire
Eternal Dragonfire is crafted or extracted from Dragon Scale Essences using the appropriate recipe.
Important cost rule
Each pulverization consumes 1x Eternal Dragonfire
This cost applies even when destroying a full Dragon Core
Because of this, using Eternal Dragonfire on full cores is more efficient (3x Dust for the same cost)
Converting Cores into Dust (Step-by-Step)
Obtain or craft Eternal Dragonfire.
Speak with the Legendary Blacksmith.
Use the dialogue Exchange PvE Core or Exchange PvP Core
Use the obtained Dust to craft Dragon Gems.
Apply the Dragon Gem to your Specialist Card to enhance it for PvE or PvP and change its inventory appearance.

are one-time-use item and permanently transform the Specialist Card you apply them to.
You can use any Gem on an already Augmented Specialist Card to change the effect and even switch the type from PvE to PvP and vice versa.
However, you won't get a previously applied Dragon Gem back, so use these Dragon Gems wisely!
